Technically a re-read: this was one of the first fantasy books I ever read. But I don’t remember it, and I definitely didn’t read the trilogy. Aged incredibly well. Interesting characters, good plot, slimey villain.

Don’t do what you can’t undo, until you’ve considered what you can’t do once you’ve done it.
